William A. Phillips has been providing financial services since 2008 first as a Financial Professional with AXA Advisors. In September 2014, William left AXA to open Phillips Financial Strategies as an independent investment advisor with Cambridge Investment Research. In January 2020, Phillips Financial Strategies updated its registration to become a Registered Investment Advisor domiciled in Washington DC. In 2025, Phillips Financial Strategies Partnered with Summit Financial to add to its scope of services.
Casey is capable, determined, confident, and well organized, with extensive experience in client support. She has been in insurance and finance for the last 10 years and is excited to help with the operations of our company. She remains highly approachable with a pleasant attitude and a passion for helping. She looks forward to helping you service your investments with Phillips Financial Strategies.
Anna joined Phillips Financial Strategies in September 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience in both operations and production. Over time, she discovered that her true strengths—and passion—lie on the operational side of the business.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting national parks, and traveling internationally. When at home in Raleigh, NC, she loves recharging with her yellow lab, Lily. She is also a dedicated foster volunteer with Saving Grace Animals for Adoption and a Tri It For Life National Board member.
Lindsay came to work for William in the winter of 2019 as our Group Insurance Plan assistant, her work is primarily focused on DC Healthlink, the health insurance exchange in Washington, DC. She has a wide and varied background, including market research/opinion polling, social media strategy and implementation, and communications strategy. Over the past fifteen years, she’s been a business consultant, government contractor, a non-profit professional, a fundraiser, and a liquor distributor.
Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and a Master’s degree in Political Management, both from the George Washington University. In her spare time, Lindsay is an avid cyclist, runner, and triathlete. She is based out of Denver, Colorado.
